Kidnap Kid -Birds that fly

Sheffield’s Matt Relton (Kidnap Kid) is a stalwart on the London Club scene. I suppose I better call him ‘Kidnap’, now since he has changed his name and all that jazz, but how and ever. ‘Birds that Fly’ is such a relaxing production from Relton and has been on our playlists for a good long while. It’s a tune for a cold winter evening as you shuffle home in the rat race at rush hour observing the thousands that pass you by in the melee. The synth keys are mesmerizing, Enjoy. Flake.

Lane 8 – Little by Little

69A2E9CF-B65C-4BC9-AA68-328D2A262938.jpegEssentric American producer “Lane 8” is one of those Guys who treads of his own waves in terms of his mixed bag of varied sounds. His latest release is full of soul coupled with brooding synths – generic pop numbers – acidic textures. The Album title track ‘Little by Little’ is more simplistic in nature but rises higher in stature. This track gets our sniff here at the office, with its 80s drum snare and M85 reminiscent  synth – it meanders us kindly torwards our happy place. Check it. Enjoy it.
