BANGER: Unknown Artist – Pianodance

I shared Ian DPM‘s solo release ‘Lip Service‘ up on this site a few months ago. I thought his progressive style was immense and it’s startlingly clear that this fella has a very simular taste in music to me. I loved how track developed in a controlled and patient manner and gave me the dark grimy feels of a Berlin dungeon club like Tresor, smoke everywhere, no cares given. Check that out on the link below.

Since then I have been following the ‘Definite Party Material’ founder on soundcloud and this morning was blown away by a posting from yet another ‘Unknown Artist’ alias. This time we stumble upon the crunching piano driven Pianodance. A track frought with Bicep-esce break-beat, old school bass licks and pure early 90’s piano melodies.

This is a spectator arrangement altoghter. If there was one song to bolster music festival montages this year, this is the kingmaker. I’m sure the lads up at AVA Festival Belfast will be well aware of this one come party time. Throwback! Feel good grooves – Get the goggles on and have a bop!
