Miller Blue and His New Single ‘Us’ Has Gone Under the Radar

Miller Blue

Miller Blue is one of the thousands of musicians inspired by a combination of James Blake and Frank Ocean. I was dumbfounded when sent his tune ‘Marigold‘ by Scottish songwriter Neev a couple of weeks ago. Once again, I managed to miss another emerging artist who strikes all the right notes. Marigold quickly became an ear-worm and heavily rotated on my personal playlists! This fella has all the right ingredients to be a force to be reckoned with on the UK pop-indie scene. His soulful voice, coupled with an effectively infectious creative flair is just the tonic indeed.

His latest offering ‘Us‘ came out earlier this month and I’ve been waiting for a day like today to pen a suitable homage to it. Today is the first day in a long while that I can catch up on all of my favourite songs! It’s been a hellishly busy time of late and after finishing writing my book ‘Snakehips’, I’ve been left me with a raging need to continue writing. Typing constantly is the order of the day, now I can concentrate on the music again! Miller Blue is one of them unique music-makers that does little-wrong in the production end of things. He has developed his own style and it’s only right he gets a proper mention.

Us‘ is a bubbly and vibrant tune with plenty of uplifting melodies to cleanse even the most dour soul. This guy operates with a swagger about him, each single he pushes out manages to impress – Us is probably his most accomplished yet!
