Ever since hearing ‘Slow My Heart Rate Down‘ from his ‘Poisoned Reveries EP back in June 2019, I’ve been a fan. Callum Pitt is one of the most consistent Indie/Rock artists in the UK and has been quietly building a loyal fan-base. It’s a very difficult era for artists breaking through with many getting disheartened at the state of it all. Pitt lets his music do the talking and ‘Fault Lines‘, his second single of 2020, is sure to pick him up more fans.
I had the pleasure of taking in a Callum Pitt gig late last year and can certainly recommend him and his wonderful band. Their performance was wrought with whimsical falsetto’s, lovely harmonies and shimmering guitars. He is an artist not to be under-estimated – Callum Pitt will become one of the UK’s most cherished Indie acts in a few years. Strong praise yes, but mark my words.
Fault Lines, is the latest single he has added to his ever-so-impressive catalog of releases to date. A mercurial talent with a real chance of progression, one of my favourite finds (as you can guess) since I started running this blog back in 2019. Gem.
