Felix Dreiser Returns With Another Tranquil Gem ‘Concise’

It’s fair to say I’m a bit of a Felix Dreiser megafan. The German composer can do no wrong in my book. Sometimes a little bit of calm and ambience is just what the doctor ordered and Felix’s new composition oozes chill. I just found his latest single ‘Concise‘ this morning and listening to it’s melancholic textures, I’ve been put into a pretty lovely headspace as I rise to face the day. An artist with a distinctly cinematic appeal, an ear for sound and the technical skill to pull it all off, Dreiser is one of the most cherished names in my personal playlists and has been for a few years now.

Concise is wonderfully simple and stripped back, in keeping with his previous releases. He never tries anything too dramatic or over-complicated in his pieces, and why should he? He is a rising star in the ambient electronic game and long may it continue. Such is life, it takes many years for an artist to break through but I’ve no doubt that Felix will reap the rewards for his work sooner rather than later.
