Up and coming U.K producer ‘Laurence Guy’ is one of the best in the business and he is at it yet again on his latest release ‘Wildlife’. They call it Nu Disco, which is a Jungle, Garage-y, Tropical style, It reminds me of a toned down version of Cutty Ranks – Limb by Limb, which was famously curated for Father Ted back in the day. I can imagine good oul ‘Father Stack’ drilling holes in the wall listening to this one. Deep bass, Acid lead, Garage Drums, this is a great tune. ‘Guy’ has recently been signed to Stockholm’s Studio Barnhuis, which all bodes well for the future, Boman and the boys will sort him out.
