Monday mood music here from Australian duo Breathe. They describe their sound as “late night soul music”. When I heard their latest single ‘Haze’, I couldn’t get over the production quality of it. These two mates are coming up with superb melancholic down-tempo bass music.
The lads have been featured on triple j multiple times now with their first two singles receiving rave review thus far. Their sound is well worth hearing. I found myself sitting in my garden this morning with ‘Haze’ on repeat. The lush synth soundscapes, powerful bass undertones and crisp vocals weave around to create an eerily dreamy end product. Breathe. are an undoubtedly talented duo with a big future ahead of them.
