In the midst of a solid night of trawling through the new songs of the week, I stumbled upon this little rascal from a young lad named Tom Vernon. This fella hails from the secluded Jersey, Channel Islands UK. Vernon has clearly been working hard honing his craft in the past few months judging by his recent SoundCloud progression. ‘Amber Fade’ is a very understated LoFi styled house tune which is very chill in nature but offers something quite enjoyable at the same time. The tune is not entirely perfect but I love his use of background commotion throughout and the old school, almost B-Boy beat. Really solid stuff from this young newcomer, great skills on show! A good base to work from.
