Some Monday Afternoon mood music from American duo Bad Flamingo. If I was curating the songs to fit into the sequel of Django Unchained, ‘Open The Gates’ would be an absolute shoe-in for the soundtrack. This is a simply class track with a slight wild west tinge elevating it to higher heights than a standard run of the mill track.
These two are doing really exciting things. For whatever reason though, whether intentional or not, the sound panning on my headphones is slightly off on the SoundCloud upload, even this didn’t hamper the fact that the track is an absolute diamond. Those vocals are quality, the guitar is mystical and that strange percussion rippling through is quite unique. Really impressed with this one. It tickles my fancy!
